Scalability is a property that must be carefully designed into a system. Case studies illustrate how developers and scalability experts improved scalability. With minor adjustments to an agile development process, stakeholders spend more up-front time together and less time at later stages for individual, unstructured re‐work.
Gunnar Brataas is a senior research scientist at SINTEF and focuses on the combination of scalability engineering and agile software development.
